When I have my own kids,
I want to actually be close to them to the point where they can trust me and tell me anything. I wouldn’t punish nor lecture them too harshly if they tell me the truth. I’ll let them go out and have fun with their friends, and get involved in relationships. I’m going to make them take care of their own responsibility, but I want to be there to guide them also. I don’t want to be the type of parent that controls their lives, like mine have done to me.
